In the late afternoon, we approach the fantastic cliffs of the Côte Ver- meille. Here the foothills of the Pyrenees dive into the Mediterranean Sea. The sun, too, has now completed its day’s work and sinks red behind the horizon. There are still a few hours ahead of us. In the darkness, we navi- gate around the Cap de Creus with its dangerous current. Shortly before midnight, we arrive exhausted and happy to the port of Empuriabrava. We have absolutely earned ourselves a beer now. Cheers! We look forward to new adventures. Ahoy!

Am späten Nachmittag nähern wir uns der fantastischen Steilküste der Côte Vermeille. Hier tauchen die Ausläufer der Pyrenäen ins Mittelmeer. Auch die Sonne hat jetzt ihr Tageswerk vollbracht und versinkt glutrot hin- ter dem Horizont. Vor uns liegen noch ein paar Stunden Fahrt. Weitläufig umrunden wir im Dunkel das Cap de Creus mit seiner gefährlichen Strö- mung. Kurz vor Mitternacht landen wir erschöpft und glücklich im Hafen von Empuriabrava. Das Bier haben wir uns jetzt unbedingt verdient. Prost! Wir freuen uns auf neue Abenteuer - Ahoi!
