On the familiar campsite Las Palmeras in Sant Pere Pescador, near by the ocean - a meeting of classic VW buses took place on the weekend of 11th to 13th October. We enjoyed the hippie flair and loved the charm- ing vintage cars!
Young families, seniors, singles and couples - all with one thing in com- mon: the passion for old buses of the german producer Volkswagen. On this weekend in the middle of October, one could see the most different variants of T1, T2 and T3 models: whether in the classic lotus British rac- ing green, painted with neon-coloured flowers, lowered or with vintage tents on the roof. Obviously a lot of patience, love and sweat has been invested in them all! Saturday we ate a traditional fideuà with all guests of the meeting: it is very similar to the Spanish paella, but the typical Catalan fideuà is prepared with pasta instead of rice. Delicious! In the evening there is a blues concert at the camping bar and everybody dances and drinks freshly tapped beer. The award ceremony take place during the concert. It was voted for the most beautiful model in each . To decide was not easy - because of all the lovely restored buses with individual interiors. On Sunday morning all the buses drive out to a large meadow and stand in three rows like colourfully lined up toy vehicles ready for a photoshoot. Another group photo, a last drink and song before the beau- tiful event comes to an end.

Auf dem familiären Campingplatz Las Palmeras in Sant Pere Pescador, nahe dem Meer - fand am Wochenende vom 11. bis zum 13. Oktober ein Bulli-Treffen statt. Wir waren dabei, haben den Hippie-Flair genossen und die charmanten Oldtimer bestaunt!
Junge Familien, Senioren, Singles und Pärchen - alle mit der einen Ge- meinsamkeit: die Liebe zu alten VW-Bussen. An diesem Wochenende Mitte Oktober, konnte man die unterschiedlichsten Varianten der T1-, T2-, und T3-Modelle bewundern: ob in klassischem Dunkelgrün lackiert, mit neonfarbigen Blumen bemalt, tiefer gelegt oder mit Vintage-Zelten auf dem Dach. Nicht zu übersehen, dass in sie alle viel Geduld, Liebe und Schweiß investiert wurde. Samstag Mittag gab es eine traditionelle Fideuà für alle Gäste: der Paella sehr ähnlich, wird die typisch katalani- sche Fideuà mit Nudeln anstatt Reis zubereitet. Köstlich! Abends tanzen wir mit frisch gezapftem Bier beim Blues-Konzert an der Camping-Bar. Im Rahmen dessen findet dann auch die große Preisverleihung statt. Es wurde für das jeweilig schönste Modell abgestimmt. Sich zu entscheiden - gar nicht so einfach - bei all den liebevoll restaurierten Bussen mit individuel- lem Interieur. Sonntag Vormittag fahren alle Bullis auf die große Wiese und stehen in drei Reihen wie bunt aufgereihte Spielzeugfahrzeuge für Fotos bereit. Noch ein Gruppenfoto, einen Drink und einen Song bevor das schöne Event langsam ausklingt.
