The “International Music Fes-
tival Castell de Peralada” this
year 2012 celebrates its 26th editi-
on. From 17 July to 22 August world
class music and dance performan-
ces are going to be held on the open
air stage in the garden of the castle
in Peralada.
Among the highlights are Mozart’s
Don Giovanni staged by the Deut-
sche Oper Berlin and the dance per-
formance of Sara Baras. All in all,
the festival once again has mana-
ged to assemble a great variety of
different musical genres, dance and
lyric to create a festival which truly
deserves its fame as one of the most
interesting music festivals of Spain.
We are already looking forward to
enjoying cultural highlights under a
starry sky in the romantic castle’s gar-
den, including Serrat & Sabina, Me-
lody Gardot, Jonas Kaufmann, Harry
Connick Jr, Buena Vista Social Club,
DionneWarwick, the Barcelona Bal-
let with Ángel Corella, Chi Cao, and
many more.

Du 17 juillet au 22 août sur la
magnifique scène plein air au
parc du château, se dérouleront
une multitude de spectacles de
musique et de danse du mon-
de entier. Un moment fort de
l‘édition 2012 sera sans doute
la présentation de Don Giovanni
par l‘opéra allemande de Berlin
(Deutsche Oper Berlin) ! Le pro-
gramme de cette année est en-
core une fois exceptionnel, varié
et international. Il y aura même
de la poésie. De belles soirées
en perspective sous le ciel étoilé
du parc du château Peralada !
