The Costa Brava Xtrem Run-
ning 4th edition wants to
provide to each participant
with a once-in-a-life-time experi-
ence. It invites the participants to
participate in an exciting sport,
mixed with a spirit of self-sacrifice
and trying their best, so that they
can feel totally free for a few days.
The volunteers desire to offer more
than a race, to make it an unforget-
table memory and to share it with
family and friends, in a special en-
vironment such as the Costa Brava.
The race will take place on May
18, 19, 20, 2012, in the mist of
spring, in such a way that the par-
ticipants could live and feel the
warm environment you can enjoy
on the Costa Brava in this season
of the year. The starting point will
take place on Sa Palomera Rock
(touristic point of interest), located
on the Blanes seafront on the 18st
of May at 14:00 hours.
The 2012 CBXR is going to have
two disciplines: Xtrem (135 km dur-
ing three days) and Selva Marítima
(25 km in one day).
La Costa Brava Xtrem Run-
ning tient à faire vivre à cha-
cun de ses participants une expé-
rience mémorable. Cette épreuve
les invite à pratiquer un sport pas-
sionnant qui, allié à un esprit de
dépassement de soi et de sacrifice,
leur permet de ressentir une liberté
totale pendant quelques jours. Fi-
dèle à la philosophie des organisa-
teurs, cette épreuve va bien au-delà
d’une simple course en se conver-
tissant en un souvenir inoubliable à
partager avec les amis et la famille
au sein de cet environnement si par-
ticulier qu’est la Costa Brava.
La course se déroulera les 18, 19
et 20 mai 2012, au beau milieu du
printemps, afin que les concurrents
puissent vivre et sentir la chaleur de
l’ambiance qui règne à la Costa
Brava à cette époque de l’année.
Le départ de la course sera donné
le 18 mai à 14 h à La Roca de Sa
Palomera, sur la promenade mari-
time de Blanes.
L’édition 2012 se décline sous deux
formats uniques : le format Xtrem (135
km en trois jours) et le format Selva
Marítima (25 km en une journée)..
