From June 24 to July 7, 1995
Christo and his wife Jeanne-
Claude attracted world-wide atten-
tion with the wrapping of the Re-
ichstag in Berlin. Also spectacular
were the veiling of the famous Pont-
Neuf in the heart of Paris in 1985,
the curtain through an entire moun-
tain valley in 1972 in Colorado
and thousands of yellow and blue
umbrellas, which were all opened

Temps de Flors in Girona might
not be as spectacular, but still it
partly follows the philosophy of
the world-famous artist. Each year
around Pentecost, the city covers,
installs and celebrates spring with
