The most Charismatic Pianist
The name Lang Lang transcends all frontiers beyond classical music. This piano virtuoso who has seduced audiences in concert halls around the world will start proceedings for the Castell de Peralada Festival’s 30th anniversary celebrations on the evening of 7 July. His interpre- tations generate inspiration wherever he goes and it is said that he is directly responsible for so many children learning the piano.
His talent and technique, his open and friendly way of playing the piano and reaching audiences and his media-friendly character make tickets sell like hot cakes wherever he plays; and his concerts are a joy to watch.
During his international tour to promote his latest album Lang Lang in Paris (Sony), he will be appearing in concert at Peralada where he will perform three very different works, The Seasons by Tchaikovsky and the 4 Scherzos by Chopin, along with The Italian Concerto by Bach.
