Auch treue Opernfans werden beim diesjährigen Peralada Festival nicht enttäuscht: So kommt am 7. und 9. August die Puccini Oper Madame Butter y in einer Neuinszenierung von Juan Anton Rechi auf die Bühne. Am 15. Juli steht die Oper „Dido und Aeneas“ von Henry Purcell un- ter Leitung des Star-Dirigenten Paul Agnew auf dem Programm.
Wer es lieber klassisch mag, den wird das National Orchester Tou- louse (Orchestre National du Ca- pitole de Toulouse) mit dessen Inter- pretationen von Debussys Prèlude „Nachmittag eines Fauns“, Mus- sorgskys „Bilder einer Ausstellung“ und Strauss’ „Vier letzte Lieder“ be- stimmt begeistern.
Besonderes Highlight ist außerdem die französische Schauspielerin Juli- ette Binoche, die „Vaillé que Vivre“ der bekannten französischen Chan- son-Sängerin Barbara zusammen mit Pianist Alexandre Tharaud per- formen wird.
Auch Stars wie Katie Melua, Bry- an Ferry, Franco Battiato and Malú werden auf der Festivalbühne zu sehen sein.
Das Festival hat aber nicht nur musi- kalisch einiges zu bieten, so gibt es auch eine Ausstellung bisher unver- öffentlichter Fotogra en der franzö- sischen Künstlerin Francette Levieux zu sehen.

También, la actriz francesa Juliette Binoche vendrá al festival para reci- tar “Vaillé que Vivre“ acompañada por el pianista Alexandre Tharaud en un espectáculo en francés don- de ambos artistas recordarán a Bar- bara, la gran dama de la chanson francesa.
En el Verano Musical, los cantan- tes Katie Melua, Bryan Ferry, Fran- co Battiato y Malú, interpretarán los grandes éxitos de sus carreras en actuaciones exclusivas en Ca- taluña.
Este año, el Festival presenta tam- bién una exposición inédita de fotografías de la artista francesa Francette Levieux titulada Béjart fête Maurice. Levieux fotogra ó en nu- merosas ocasiones la trayectoria artística de Maurice Béjart, cap- tando la emoción, la técnica y el talento de este gran coreógrafo. ¡Disfruta de un programa bien va- riada!

Highlight of this years’ festival is the French actress Juliette Binoche, who will be reciting “Vaillé que Vivre“ accompanied by pianist Alexan- dre Tharaud, remembering Bar- bara, the grande-dame of French chanson.
Moreover, during the Summer of Music, star singers Katie Melua, Bryan Ferry, Franco Battiato and Malú will be performing the great- est hits of their careers in exclusive performances in Catalonia.
This year, the festival will be hold- ing an exhibition of unseen pho- tographs by French artist Francette Levieux, who photographed Mau- rice Béjart’s career on numerous occasions, capturing the emotion, technique and talent of this great choreographer.

L’Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse et son célèbre directeur musical, Tugan Sokhiev, feront leurs débuts au festival en interprétant « Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune » de Debussy, « Tableaux d’une ex- position » (avec une orchestration de Ravel) de Moussorgski et « Cua- tro últimas canciones » (Vier letzte Lieder) de Strauss.
L’actrice française la plus interna- tionale, Juliette Binoche, récitera en français la grande dame de la chanson française lors du spectacle « Vaille que Vivre », accompagnée du pianiste Alexandre Tharaud en hommage à Barbara.
Pour cet été musical, les chanteurs Katie Melua, Bryan Ferry, Franco Battiato et Malú, interpréteront les grands succès de leurs carrières lors de concerts uniques en Catalogne. Cette année, le Festival présente une exposition inédite de photogra- phies de l’artiste française Francette Levieux intitulée « Béjart fête Mau- rice ». Cette dernière a photogra- phié Maurice Béjart pendant sa carrière, en sachant capter l’émo- tion, la technique et le talent de ce grand chorégraphe.
