competition was the frst regatta on the
international circuit to adopt the new
IMS boat classifcation system. In the
2004 edition, a new category (IMS
670) was established and added to
those already in existence: IMS 500
and IMS 600.
Sa première édition, qui remonte à
1982, comptait sur la participation
d’une cinquantaine d’embarcations, dont 35
étaient espagnoles. Cette compétition a été
la première du circuit international à adopter,
en 1990, le nouveau système de classifca-
