Wir fahren von Llafranc in Richtung Tamariu hinauf zum Leuchtturm Far de Sant Sebastià. Er wurde 1857 gebaut und ist bis heute der lichtstärkste Turm der spanischen Mittelmeerküste. Vom Leuchtturm Sant Sebastià hat man eine spektakuläre Aussicht über Land und Meer. Tief unten sieht man die kleinen Boote im Hafen von Llafranc liegen. Ein Stück oberhalb des Aussichtspunktes steht auf dem Kap Sant Sebastiá die barocke Wall- fahrtskapelle

We are on our way from Llafranc towards Tamariu to the lighthouse called Far de Sant Sebastià. The lighthouse has been constructed in 1857 and until today it is the brightest tower in the Spanish Mediterranean coast. It offers a spectacular view of land and sea. Looking down it is possible to see the small boats in the habour of Llafranc. The baroque pilgrimage chapel Ermita de Sant Sebastià which has been built in the 18. century is loca- ted on the Cap Sant Sebastiá, not far away from the viewpoint. The hotel and restaurant ‚El Far’ is placed right next to the chapel. The observation terrace of the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the iridescent mediterra- nean sea with its countless different shades of blue and its fascinating rocky bays and caves, surrounded by pine forests.
