The small shop offers a variety of delicious traditional ice creams, but there are also some pretty exotic things to try. Or have you ever tried anchovies ice cream or Roquefort ice cream? There is also vermouth ice cream with olives and mussel- avored ice cream. The gazpacho ice cream is espe- cially delicious: surprising, unusual and new, but really refreshing. It’s worth the try, we promise! It is best to order the six salty varieties, each person with a three-scoop-portion, and just try them all as a team. Our conclu- sion: weird but delicious! And if you don’t dare, you can have mango or yoghurt ice cream.
We take a quick look into one or the other boutique with colorful handi- crafts from India, Morocco or Barcelona, then it’s off to the sea.
From Begur, we drive along the cliffs towards Tamariu. The serpentine roads offer sea views like in the movies. If you live here all year round, you’ll have to assume the viewpoint of a tourist from time to time and en- joy the unique beauty of the Costa Brava. Blue days, blue ocean, blue sky, dangling soul.
We booked a table for 3:00 pm in the FarNomo at the lighthouse El Far. However, before that, we take a short tour around the lighthouse and look at the sea from high above. Of course, doing a photo session. Far below us, small yachts paint white foam lines into the azure blue water. In some places you can see all the way to the rocky seabed.
