Alt Empordà, la bahía de Roses, la islas Medes, los Aiguamolls, el Cani- gó... Casi no puede ser mejor la vista desde la capilla, pero vamos a com- probarlo. Volvemos al indicador y seguimos las marcas blancas y rojas. De camino, no dejan de fascinar el panorama de la costa y el azul bri- llante del mar. Documentamos cada paso con la cámara. Es imposible equivocarse de camino, así que nada nos distrae del placer de contem- plar el paisaje. Desde una roca lejana nos saluda el castillo de Sant Sal- vador. Algún tiempo después llegamos a una pequeña plaza, desde la cual un camino asfaltado nos lleva a la capilla Sant Onofre. El edi cio de un blanco brillante contrasta claramente con sus alrededores. Debajo de nosotros la verde vastedad del Empordà; encima de nosotros el azul claro del cielo; en el horizonte el mar de un azul más oscuro, interrumpido por el blanco de algunas velas. Ventós. Already here we enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Alt Empordà, the Bay of Roses, the Medes Islands, the Aiguamolls and the Canigó in the Pyrenees. The view from Sant Onofre can hardly be any better – we’ll see. We turn back to the marker towards Sant Onofre and follow the white and red indications of the large hiking trail.
On our way we keep fascinated by the view from the coast and the blue shining Mediterranean Sea; as it is impossible to lose our way, nothing distracts us from enjoying the landscape and taking hundreds of photos. From a rock greets the castle of Sant Salvador; after a while we reach a small square. From there an asphalted way with a wooden handrail drives to Sant Onofre. The white painted chapel is clearly silhouetted against the surrounding countryside. A viewing platform invites us to stay.
