A los conductores de descapotables y motos les encantarán las muchas curvas de la
carretera de Olot a Puigcerdà, que luego continúa a Llívia. Para volver se puede coger el
camino por Francia hasta Perpiñán, pasando el macizo del Canigou. Si entonces todavía
le queda un poco de tiempo, aproveche para hacer una parada en Vilefranche-de-Con-
flent. Fuertes murallas rodean este pueblo pintoresco, que también se ha declarado Con-
junto Histórico-Artístico y que mejor se visita fuera de temporada.
Una vez más, esta ruta nos demuestra que esta región entre montañas y Mediterráneo
es única. El encanto particular de la cultura y la arquitectura tradicionales fascina en
ambos lados de los Pirineos.

Ein Ausflug nach Llívia lohnt sich besonders bei klarer Sicht. Ob inmitten grüner Bergwie-
sen im Sommer oder weiß verschneit im Winter beeindruckt die Erhabenheit der Berge
und begeistert die klare Bergluft. Außerhalb der Sommer- und Wintersaison herrschen
Beschaulichkeit und Ruhe. In den kleinen Restaurants der Altstadt genießt man die Vorzüge
der regionalen Küche. Im Herbst stehen leckere Pilzgerichte auf der Karte.
Außerdem lässt sich ein Besuch in Llívia gut mit einem Shoppingtag im nahe gelegenen
Andorra verbinden.
Cabrio- und Motorradfahrer lieben die kurvenreiche Fahrt von Olot über die Berge bis
Puigcerdà und weiter nach Llívia. Zurück wählt man dann den Weg über Frankreich bis
Perpignan vorbei am Canigou-Massiv. Wenn noch Zeit ist, lohnt sich ein Stopp in Vilefran-
che-de-Conflent. Dicke Festungsmauern umschließen den unter Denkmalschutz stehenden
malerischen Ort, den man aber am besten außerhalb der Saison besucht.
Fazit: Einmal mehr zeigt uns diese Rundfahrt die Einmaligkeit der Region zwischen Bergen
und Mittelmeer, und die Reize traditioneller Kultur und Architektur beiderseits der Pyrenäen.
