L’hydrofoil comment ça marche ?
Les foils fonctionnent grâce à la pression de l’eau, on a un pro l très marqué d’un côté et un pro l plus n ou plat de l’autre. Sur le pro l le plus marqué (au-dessus) les molécules d’eau sont accélérées pour arriver en même temps que les molécules d’eau qui sont de l’autre côté (dessous). Il y a pourtant plus de distance à parcourir vu que le pro l est plus bombé, les molécules sont donc bien accélérées. 64 windsurfers s’affrontaient le même week-end en slalom. Le fran- çais Antoine Albeau a gagné cette année. A la deuxième et troisième place : le compatriote Pierre Mortefon et l’italien Matteo Lachino.

Was sind Hydrofoils?
Hydrofoils sind Flügel an langer Finne, die unter einem fahrenden Boot oder Brett Auftrieb erzeugen und es so aus dem Wasser heben. Die Kontakt- äche mit dem Wasser wird verringert und man beschleunigt auf Grund des geringeren Widerstandes schneller. Hydrofoiling gilt laut De nition Duden als iegen. Diese neue Surf-Technik ermöglicht es auch bei wenig Wind auf Speed zu kommen. Hydrofoils gelten als der neueste Hype in der Surf- und Kitewelt.
64 Windsurfer traten an jenem Wochenende im Slalom-Wettbewerb gegeneinander an. Gewonnen hat das diesjährige Rennen der Franzose Antoine Albeau. Auf Platz 2 und 3 landeten Landsmann Pierre Mortefon und der Italiener Matteo Iachino.

El hydrofoil es una quilla de gran tamaño que tiene dos alas que pro- vocan el despegue del windsurf por encima del agua, quedando sólo sumergido el extremo inferior de la aleta. El windsur ng foil eleva so- bre el agua y navega suspendido a un metro de altura y así parece como si las tablas volaran. Esta disciplina necesita menos viento que el windsurf tradicional. Los hydrofoils son la nueva tendencia en el mun- do de surf y kite.
En aquel n de semana compitieron 64 windsur stas. El ganador de este año se llama Antoine Albeau. En el segundo y tercero puesto están Pierre Mortefon y Matteo Iachino.

What are hydrofoils?
Hydrofoils are kinds of wings, mounted on struts below the hull, or across the keels of a catamaran in a variety of boats. When increas- ing in speed, the boat or, in this case surfboard, equipped with a hydrofoil develops enough lift to raise the hull out of the water, which reduces hull drag.
