After that Kaufmann capti-
vats his audience right from

chielli and “Cielo e mar!” from the
opera “La Gioconda”.

known arias of different masters.
The enthusiasm of the audience

Richard Wagner.
As a German tenor Kaufmann
feels particularly connected with
songs in his native language. He
relies on intensity, openness, emo-
