Bucht. Zwei Fischerhütten stehen am Rand. Das Schild an der Hütte verspricht im Sommer täglich Erfris- chungsgetränke und Imbiss, sonst an den Wochenenden. Die Bucht ist gesäumt von blank gespülten Steinen. Das kühle Meer lockt. Wir stürzen uns in die Fluten. Glasklar plätschern die Wellen zwischen den Felsen. El cavall – heißt der Felsenkopf im Meer. Vom Boot aus soll er an Stalin erinnern. Wir genießen das erfrischende Pric- keln auf der Haut. In der Ferne ein Motorboot. Sonst niemand. Es ist September – ein Freitagnachmittag nach der Saison. Idylle pur. Wir sind jetzt gerüstet für den Aufstieg aus der Bucht. Stufe um Stufe über Wurzeln und Steine durch zimt- farbene Felsen steil nach oben. Der Weg wird breiter und verläuft jetzt gerade bis zu einem Mirador.

El cami- no se ensancha y va directo hasta el mirador. Desde aquí volvemos a ver el mar. Continuamos dirección Tamariu y enseguida aparece el pintoresco golfo delante de noso- tros. Hay pescadores y parejitas tomando el sol. Los colores de las rocas van cambiando y el azul del mar cada vez es más oscuro. El sol empieza su descenso y a nosotros nos apetece tomar un agua y un café con hielo. Rápidamente lle- gamos a la playa de Tamariu. La mayoría de los bañistas son toda- vía del país y en el café del ho- tel de la playa aún quedan sillas vacías. Finalmente, el agua fresca. En la mesa de al lado están sen-

Crystal clear waves are splashing through the cliffs. ‚El cavall‘ is the name of the head of the rock in the sea. Watching this rock from the boat it is said that it looks like Stalin. We are enjoying the refreshing tingling on the skin. Somewhere in the dis- tance the sound of a motorboat can be heard. But besides that there is no other noise.
It’s September - a Friday afternoon during the off-saison. A pure idyll. We are ready for the ascent of the bay. Step by step, steep up across roots and stones through cinnamon colored rocks. La baie est pleine de pierres (qui sont complètement propres à l’aide de l’eau). La mer froide nous attire et nous nous jetons à l’eau. On en- tend et observe les vagues se jettant vers le rocher.
Ce rocher qui ressemble à une tête s’appelle « El cavall ». On dit qu’il ressemble même à Stalin si l’on re- garde d’un bateau. Grâce à la fraî- cheur de l’eau, nous pro tons des légers picotements sur nos peaux. A part un bateau à moteur, on est seuls. On est Septembre, un ven- dredi après-midi hors saison. C’est le véritable paradis sur terre. Main- tenant, nous nous sentons bien pré- parés pour la montée.
