Bisher war ich ein paar mal auf Mallorca. Die Insel begeistert mich jedes mal von neuem. Das spanische Festland - speziell die Costa Brava - ist Neuland für mich. Hier will ich während meines Praktikums das andere Spanien - oder besser Katalonien - erkunden.
Gleich zu Beginn meiner Praktika ging es - mit der neusten Ausgabe der Costa Live im Gepäck - auf Erkundungsfahrt. Erstes Ziel war der kleine Ferienort L’Estartit bei Torroella de Montgrí.
Schon auf dem Weg dorthin war die Aussicht spektakulär: Die Kombi- nation von Meer und Gebirge war einfach überwältigend. Vor Ort be- geisterten dann ein schöner Strand, belebte kleine Einkaufsstraßen, ein überschaubarer Yachthafen und viele einladende Cafés und Restaurants mit Meerblick. Hier schien nichts vom Massentourismus erschlagen. Ein kleines Café direkt zwischen Strand und Hafen lockte uns, um in Ruhe die Aussicht auf Boote und Wasser bei einer Erfrischung zu genießen. Der Strand war keineswegs überfüllt und das Wasser total ruhig - obwohl an diesem Tag eigentlich vielerorts die Wellen tobten. Until now, I’ve only been to Mallorca a few times. The island manages to fascinate me all over again every time. The Spanish continent - especially the Costa Brava - is virgin territory to me. During my internship, I would love to explore the other part of Spain - or rather of Catalonia.
At the very beginning of my internship, we took our rst exploratory trip - having the Costa Live in the trunk. Our rst destination was the small resort L’Estartit near to Torroella de Montgrí.
On our way there, the views were already spectacular: The combina- tion of sea and mountains was simply overwhelming. On site, a beautiful beach, small bustling shopping streets, a manageable yacht harbour and many welcoming coffee shops and restaurants with sea view amazed me. The place wasn’t ooded by mass tourism at all. A tiny coffee shop between beach and harbour drew us to quietly enjoy the panorama of boats and water while sipping a refresher. The beach wasn’t over- crowded at all and the water was quite calm - although the waves were raging in many places this day. After that, we made a little walk along the new promenade until the end of the town to admire the small islands
