zum Ende des Örtchens, um von dort aus die „Illes Medes“ - das Wahr- zeichen von L’Estartit - zu bestaunen. Wilde Wellen brachen sich heute tosend an steil aus dem Meer ragenden Felsenwänden. Die Macht des offenen Meeres - hier hatte man sie direkt vor Augen.
Als nächstes ging es dann nach Begur, einem beliebten Urlaubsort, der so einiges zu bieten hat. Sei es nun Shopping, ein Aus ug zu den schönen Buchten oder tolle Ausblicke vom Burgberg über Stadt, Land und Meer. Inzwischen war Siestazeit und uns knurrte der Magen. Also machten wir uns auf den Weg ins Ortsinnere um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Im beliebten kleinen Restaurant „El Tapas de Begur“ fanden wir einen freien Tisch im Schatten des Olivenbaums. „El Tapas de Begur“ verführt mit vielen klei- nen Leckereien. Die Tapas holt man sich selbst an der Bar. Die Stäbchen, mit denen die Tapas gespickt sind, nicht entsorgen sondern unbedingt aufbewahren. Sie dienen dem Kellner zur Abrechnung! Dieses praktische System - vollkommen unkompliziert und auf Vertrauensbasis - kannte ich noch nicht. Die Tapas waren super lecker und sind de nitiv zu empfehlen. Da sich das Restaurant direkt im Zentrum des Ortes be ndet, hatte man schon während des Essens ein paar nette kleine Boutiquen gesichtet, die es zu erkunden galt. Next, we made our way to Begur, a popular resort which has a lot to offer. Whether you like to go shopping, make a trip to the beautiful bays or enjoy the fascinating views from the castle hill over city, countryside and sea - Begur’s got it all.
Meanwhile, it was siesta time and our stomachs were growling. So we struck off to the town centre to eat a little something. Fortunately, we found a free table in the shadow of an olive tree in the famous restaurant “El Ta- pas de Begur“, which seduces with a lot of little treats. Without having to wait for the waiter to take the order, you can take the tapas yourself from the bar. It is important to keep the sticks which grace the tapas and not to throw them away! They are necessary for cashing up. Until then, this practi- cal system, which is perfectly simple and is based on trust, wasn’t familiar to me. The tapas were very delicious and are de nitely recommendable. As the restaurant is located in the heart of the city, we had already spot- ted some nice boutiques next door while eating, that we had to visit after- wards.
