Zitronenbäume. Eine Katze huscht durch einen Torbogen. Die schmalen Gassen rund ums Burgschloss schlucken uns und das Sonnenlicht für einen Moment, um uns schon nach wenigen Minuten wieder frei zu geben. Der Ort ist in vormittägliche Ruhe gehüllt. Ein alter Mann grüßt freundlich übers Gartentor. Unbemerkt sind wir nicht. Um diese Uhr- und Jahreszeit gibt es hier keine Fremden. Wir sind sofort als ausländische Touristen enttarnt und werden beobachtet. Ob unsere Kamera die Magie der Stunde einfangen kann? Besser Sie begeben sich selbst auf die Suche.
Ganz in der Nähe liegt der Ort Canapost mit seiner schönen romani- schen Kirche, die dem Hl. Stefan gewidmet ist. Von hier geht es weiter nach Peratallada. Das Dorf gilt als Juwel und wird im Sommer viel be- sucht. Auch heute sind wir in diesem von Mauern umgebenen Dorf, das mit ursprünglicher mittelalterlicher Struktur glänzt, auch nicht ganz allein. Auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Ort muss noch keine Gebühr bezahlt werden und wir nden entspannt Platz zwischen den wenigen abgestellten Miet- wagen erster Touristen.

Not far away, you can nd the place Canapost with its beautiful Roman- esque church, dedicated to Saint Steven. From here, we go to Peratallada. This village is considered a jewel and is visited by many people during summer. Also today, we are not alone in this village surrounded by walls, impressing with traditional medieval structure. At the car park, we still don’t have to pay a charge and we easily nd a place between the few hired cars of the rst tourists. Peratallada is dominated by its castle and the Romanesque church Sant Esteve. We stroll through the crooked alleys and delightful squares. In the old town centre you can nd many small restaurants, located in charmingly renovated historic stone houses. Almost all of the boutiques and small shops are still closed right now.
