Albert Llobet Portell was born in Figueres in 1988. The ‘art virus’ infected him already at young age - not surprising if one grows up in Dalí’s home town. He soon starts to experiment with colors, shapes and designs. After high school, he studies industrial design at Elisava school in Barcelona. There, he comes into contact with students and professors from around the world. This opens up new horizons: he leaves the country to study for one year at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, one of the best schools for art and design in the USA. Later, he participates in project weeks of the University of Southampton.
More and more he becomes entrenched in the world of art. He uses any free minute to capture his emotions on canvas. In his paintings, he pays homage to the expressive and beautiful landscape of the Empordà, its structure, its colours, its particular face during Tramuntana, and the stormy waves of the Mediterranean. Full of inspiration, he lets his imagination and creativity run wild.
Albert Llobet Portell wurde 1988 in Figueres geboren. Vom Virus Kunst in ziert - kein Wunder wenn man in der Dalí-Stadt aufwächst - beginnt er schon während seiner Schulzeit mit Farben, Formen und Design zu experimentieren. Nach dem Abitur studiert er an der Elisava in Barce- lona Industriedesign. Dort kommt er in Kontakt mit Studenten und Profes- soren aus aller Welt. Das eröffnet neue Horizonte: Er wagt für ein Jahr den Sprung an die Rhode Islands School of Design, einer der besten Adressen für Gestaltung und Kunst in den USA. Danach beteiligt er sich an Projektwochen der University of Southampton.
Immer stärker zieht ihn die Welt der Kunst in den Bann. Jede freie Zeit nutzt er, um seine Emotionen auf Leinwand zu bannen. In seinen Bildern huldigt er expressiv der wundervollen Landschaft des Empordà, ihrer Struktur, Farbigkeit, dem besonderen Ausdruck bei Tramuntana, der Gicht und den stürmischen Wellen des Mittelmeers. Voller Inspiration lässt er seiner Fantasie und Kreativität auf der Leinwand freien Lauf.
